“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” — 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV)
1. Love Is the Mark of a True Believer
Love is not just an emotion—it’s a lifestyle. Every action, every word, every decision should be rooted in God’s love.
“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” — John 13:35
Walking in love means responding in peace, extending forgiveness, and seeing people the way Jesus sees them.
2. The Power of Agape Love
God’s kind of love (agape) is unconditional—it gives without expecting in return. It changes hearts, heals relationships, and draws people to Christ.
“The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.” — Romans 5:5
When we let love lead, faith works, grace flows, and miracles happen.
3. Living the Love Walk
• Be quick to forgive, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
James 1:19–20 (NKJV): “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
• Serve others with humility and joy
Philippians 2:3–4 (NKJV): “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”
• Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
Matthew 5:44 (NKJV): “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”
• Let faith work through love.
Galatians 5:6 (NKJV): “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.” Love never fails because God never fails.
Prayer for November
Lord, teach me to walk in Your love every day. Help me to forgive quickly, to honor others, and to reflect Your heart in all I do. May my life reveal Your love to everyone around me. In Jesus Name, Amen.
