“Let us rise up and build.” — Nehemiah 2:18 (NKJV)
As we step into 2026, we believe this is a year marked by divine movement and spiritual alignment. Scripture teaches that the Spirit of God moves like the wind—unseen, powerful, and purposeful. When the Wind of Heaven begins to stir, God brings clarity, renewal, and forward momentum to His people. This year is not about striving harder, but about responding faithfully to where God is moving.
Throughout Scripture, God reveals His desire to dwell among His people. From the tabernacle in the wilderness to the temple in Jerusalem, the Lord’s house has always been a place of His presence, glory, and fellowship. Today, the church remains both spiritual and practical—living hearts joined with physical spaces where lives are transformed.
When Nehemiah saw the broken walls of Jerusalem, he issued a clear call: “Come, and let us build.” The people responded with unity, faith, and action, setting their hands to a good work. Restoration came not through one person’s effort, but through a community moving together under God’s favor.
Building the house of God is a holy assignment. It requires unity, sacrifice, and obedience. Scripture reminds us that giving is not about equal amounts, but about willing hearts. When God stirs hearts to obey, there is always more than enough to accomplish His will.
“Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the Lord. – Haggai 1:8 (NKJV)
God connects His pleasure and His glory directly to the building of His house. When His people place His kingdom first, heaven responds with order, provision, and blessing. What we give in obedience never leaves our lives—it is sown into our future.
What we are building today is far more than walls and rooms. It is a soul-saving station, a lighthouse to our city, and a training center for future generations. Every prayer, every gift, and every act of service becomes part of an eternal testimony.
Some give bricks, others beams; some sow financially while others labor faithfully—but together we build. As God directs our steps in this season, let us rise up in faith and build His house for His glory.
